KENTUCKY BOARD OF INTERPRETERS FOR THE DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING

 

The Board of Interpreters for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing administers and enforces its statutory authority and monitors the needs of the consuming public. The board licenses all eligible candidates for entry into the profession, and recommends appropriate changes in the law to assure fairness and equality. The board conducts formal hearings when necessary and prosecutes by due process any violators of KRS 309.300 to 309.319.

TEAM KENTUCKY EMERGENCY RELIEF FUND

Governor Beshear has established the Team Kentucky Emergency Relief Fund to assist Kentuckians impacted by catastrophic events. All donations to the Team Kentucky Emergency Relief Fund are tax-deductible, and donors will receive a receipt for tax purposes after donating. This fund is fully transparent and is subject to open records and legislative oversight. There are no administrative fees, so every dollar helps Kentuckians.
